SCG May Garden Tour at Growing Neighbors
Wednesday, May 30, 2018 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

In order to grow our local food network and facilitate a sharing of ideas and resources, Spokane Community Gardens invites the public to tour a different community, school, or service garden each month. This month we are excited to tour the Growing Neighbors farmyards and get a glimpse of how Growing Neighbors is growing healthy neighborhoods through urban farming and community development. John Edmondson will lead this special SCG Monthly Garden Tour, free and open to the public.

Growing Neighbors’s mission states, “We are connecting neighbors and caring for nature by growing community partnerships, mentoring relationships, educational opportunities, access to local food, environmental sustainability, healthy lifestyle habits, and love for one another.”
